Deleting Bookmarks icon from SpringBoard

Sounds easy enough...deleting a bookmark icon from a site you visited on the Springboard. Press and hold icon till it wiggles then press x to delete. In my case if you respring the iphone the bloody bookmark returns.Pain in the arse.... after wasting a shed load of time seaching and trying out several supposed fixes I struck lucky with this :

/var/mobile/Library/WebClips


SSH or iFile to the WebClips folder and delete the offending bookmark.

Fijiman im not sure what you are taking about here are you taking about apps running in the background or websites you have visited on safari.

Hi mate... You can turn a web page your browsing in Safari into an icon on your springborad... the problem I was having was that I couldn't delete the icon...as it kept reappearing after a respring... fixed it eventually
