You can jailbreak,you just wouldn't want to unlock... If you just want jailbreak then use greenpoisen rc6....you only can't restore to stock firmware if you update your baseband to ipads me thinks

Ahh ok I get ya now... I'm still getting my head around basebands ...

The thing is though I do want to unlock to try a different sim, just to see if the phone works, cos it wont at the minute with any sim card I try in it.

I was afraid of jailbreaking in case I bricked my iphone or something, but after some reading and seeing how easy greenpoison is to use. I now want to do it so badly, but I see battery life, wifi and gps can be affectted, so thats why I may want to revert back if things get annoying for me.

Jailbreaking 4.2.1 was a very good job. But the unlock does anyone know when it will be avaible for 03.10.01???
