    HELP: my 3gs as stopped sending texts

    hi all

    my 3gs as stopped sending text messages. can any one help i have already done the following.
    turned off and on again
    rebooted hand set (home and off button together)
    restored factory settings.
    rang 02 (i should have rang father Ted. at least he may ave add a ~~~~ing clue) 02 useless
    none of the above have worked..
    i have done a little research into problem. some poeple are saying its the signal... ive had the phone over 12 months same area, same signal without a glitch. don't think its a signal issue.
    can anyone help

      Does your iPhone look and act like it's sending texts but people aren't receiving them?

      Check to make sure you have enough credit - I had this problem when switching providers. When I ran out of prepaid credit with the first provider (Telstra - Australia), I would get an error exclamation mark on my iPhone saying my text didn't send. When I switched providers to Virgin (Australia), I didn't receive any error alerts on the iPhone when I was out of credit. So as far as I was concerned it looked like my texts were being sent but nobody was receiving them. No alerts at all that my text didn't send. I thought my phone was broken until I figured that out.

          try sim in a different phone and isolate problem to card/provider or the phone itself

              boda can you let us know if you have a pay as you go iphone or a contract iphone as the mms address is differnt for both.
