Two available for jailbreak- redsn0w 0.9.6b6 , sn0wbreeze 2.2 .

so which one is the best and the easyist to use . or is there a tread were it goes through step by step instructions ?

I just used redsn0w for the wifes 3g on firmware 4.2.1

No problems at all.

Did try Sn0wbreeze, but failed.... probably my noobness

you will need your stock firmware on your comp to point redsn0w to: custom restore
Dev-Team Blog direct download is on bottom of this page be sure to read the bits on page that apply to you,when /if you do go ahead make sure you leave it plugged in through the flash process ,if you battery dies your in trouble...

before going ahead -also get tinyumbrella and it will backup your older firmwares which you may need in future
