Stream from your NAS to ipad/iphone

Does anyone know how to Stream from your NAS to ipad or iphone without jailbreaking or buying any more devices from Apple.?

Any help appreciated - with step by step instructions.

the following link is to a paid for app which will stream from a UPnP server to ipad etc. which is how i stream movies to my andriod tablet from a nas box which has a UPnP server.
