ipod nano 5th gen copying music files to itunes library

I have lost the original library (due to formatting the hard drive) it there any way i can copy the tunes from my ipod nano into my itunes library so i can copy it into my ipod touch.
i have tried to copy files but the only option get is to delete the tunes from ipod nano.

i will download the tunes and albums on computer then transfer them to my ipod touch.

dam you apple. wasting my time because i can't copy back to pc. from the ipod nano to itunes library. time is money. and apple have to make it long for me.

There are programs for copying music from the iPod to the computer. I've used Senuti which I can recommend but I'm not sure if there's a Windows version (I'm on a Mac). Search for it! I know there are other applications too.

I've done it just by accessing the IPOD as a USB hard drive

download ipod access. brill programme and it also copies all the playlists as well which are invaluable to me.
