Ipod touch 2 gen, lcd screen hung, Not able to open

Hi,
My 2 gen iPod touch does not open the lcd screen, got struck.
I left it on for long time to drain the batter. and rechaged it , again the same.
Any help please.

what you mean by it doesnt open the screen? do you mean it doesnt come on? what were you doing before it went off?

Try plugging it into iTunes... and restore it...it's feeling it's age..

Problem solved, I connected to laptop, it did not sync for more than an hour!!, then i downloaded the latest i tuned, and left it on, for 6 hours when i returned to laptop, found it was sync, then updated the latest software, Now working fine.
