Removing password file from itouch 4g 4.3.5 ???

hi guys

can any1 point me in the right direction of removing a password from an itouch 4g on 4.3.5

i tried the usual keychain removal with ifunbox but upon rebooting the itouch the file seems to be replaced with a backup ?!?!

any ideas how to get past things.

its my little boys itouch
restoring isnt an option as he will loose all his saves and games

Try syncing/backup to iTunes everything will be saved....then put your touch into DFU mode before restoring..
