Help!! I can't get e-mail to work on my son's ipod touch

    Hi,

I have bought my son a 3g iPod Touch for his birthday next week. I have set it all up and downloaded all his music etc. but I don't understand how to link it so he can receive his hotmail e-mails on it.

I've hooked it up to our wireless broadband connection and that is definitely working, but I don't understand what I need to put into the mail set-up fields. I've chosen POP but what is the incoming mail server host name? I've tried mail.hotmail.co.uk and mail.hotmail.com but each time it just comes up with an error saying the server is not responding. His e-mail address is ****@hotmail.co.uk.

Please help! I need to wrap the iPod Touch before his birthday!!

i have never used the mail app on my iphone as i couldnt figure out how to use it with hotmail.
I always use mbox mail from the app store but you can do it just on the internet explorer if you just go to hotmail.com
Thank Me If I Help You

      Hi

Try pop3.live.com on your incoming server and smtp.live.com on your outgoing server
