Ipod touch 2nd generation frozen?

I have already tried the power/sleep button & the home button for about 15 seconds for it to resetI have tried the restoring the iopd just as if I just bought it.
The problem is that I can not turn off the ipod,on, listen to music, or anything .

Have you got a backup??
Reset it with itunes
