ios 5.0.1 jailbrake??

so i have the latest version of redsnow

im on 5.0.1 ipod touch 4th gen

ive used redsnow to jailbrake then just boot tethered for now and get the cydia icon

all works ect but when i install anything ie instalous ect... ect...

you obviously need to reboot device once it installs wich i do but then it gets stuck at the apple logo and i have to end up putting it into recovery mode and restore via itunes ect..

wich leaves me back to begining no jailbrake and no cydia ect..

am i doing something wrong???????

i no they is suppose to be a untethered jailbreak coming out soon but it remains to be seen

theres an option to boot tethered u dont need to jailbreak again
