ipod 4g to tv issue

Hi, I just bought a cable from amazon to connect an ipod 4g to a tv via hdmi : ( link ). When i connect it to the tv I can get sound on you tube but no picture ,the ios is above 6 as pointed out on the description so I would appreciate any input or help with this ! cheers

These cables are best purchased from apple.
Third party cables are known to be problematic as the iOS is updated.
If you're jailbroken check out resupported on Cydia.
