    jailbreak info needed

    Hi guys
    bought an ipod touch 2nd edition the other day n i was wondering if anyone could giv me step by step instructions on how to jailbreak it please.
    am i right in thinking that when it is jailbroke i can download my own apps n stuff and put em on.

      GO TO SAFARI ON YOUR IPOD TYPE IN JAILBREAK.COM AN FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU WILL ALSO NEED INSTOLOUS TO GET YOUR APPS FOR FREE

          On your itouch, make sure you have enabled WI-FI.

          Once Wi-Fi is ON, then go to Safari -> type in JailbreakMe in the browser. Then you slide the bottom to jailbreak.

          Once you have completed it, Cydia should have been added to your main screen.

          Under cydia, go to Manage -> Sources -> Edit -> Add

          type in, cydia.hackulo.us

          Press Yes, then go back to sections on cydia. Look for hackulo.us folder and download installous.


          Now you are ready to download games and apps.

              agreed. jailbreakme.com is the quickest and easiest to jailbreak ipod/iphone/ipad

                No need. Installous is already linked to apptrackr.org
                instead in a mobile form. I never had to set the homepage
