Jailbreak ipod tough 3rd gen with 4.1 firmware

hi my girlfriend has just purchased this off a friend and i was wondering if its possible to jailbreak it yet? i have looked at other threads just wondering if it has been released yet?? thanks in advance

no jailbreak for 4.1 yet i am also waiting for my iphone 4 green poison jailbreak is close to release you can only downgrade if you have saved shsh blob on cydia for firmware 4.01 or previous versions

Oops.....my bad....to jailbreak an iPod touch 3G to 4.1 you have to start with the iPod on 3.1.2FW and not jailbroken then upgrade to4.1 with sn0wbreeze to jailbreak

you need to get your shsh blobs. download firmware umbrella 4.0 2.0.5 run the program and connect your ipod. when the program has seen your ipod tick advanced options and find the firmware number you want to downgrade to (i sugest ipod 3g 4.0) you ipod would need to have been jailbroken at some point before. do you know if it has? if not then this info will be useless to you im afraid. let me know and ill guide you through some more and tell you where to get the firmwares from

no the ipod has never been broken in the past, guess im just gonna have to wait till the break is released, thanks for your help anyway guys
