Jailbreak my ipod

hey guys

i've tried to jealbreak my iPod all day and i've looked through many posts and used the sites such as JailbreakMe and greenposi0n. None of these will work and i need a more reliable way to do it

You need to goto Jailbreakme.com on your iPod through safari m8,again make sure you are charged up n plugged in

once again i've tred as you said but n luck. i also tried another jb called blackra1n, have you any experience with that one?

Did you finally manage to get your 3G 3.1.3 jailbroken then.

Other options may be to upgrade to later version of firmware and try other jailbreaks.

It doesnt sound like theres any reason why yours didnt work, probably finger trouble !!

It all depends what his ios is 3.1.3 or 4.2.1
If its 4.2.1 there is not a jailbreak out for that yet but hopefully soon.Google dev team.com for more info and firmware..

damn, I was trying to jb mine with iOS4 :|

It all depends what his ios is 3.1.3 or 4.2.1

There is a tethered jailbreak out for 4.2.1 it's redsn0w 0.9.6b4 tethered basically means that ipod/iphone needs redsn0w to start the unit if it needs a reboot or get's switched off. There is also an untethered jailbreak for 4.2.1 but the software is for mac osx users only. Hopefully there will be an untethered version for windows in the very near future
