auto music on dock

Hi
My grandson had a new ipod touch for christmas and a cd/radio with a ipod dock, when we put the ipod touch on the dock the first few times it was charging with no problems, now when we put it on the dock it charges but also plays music automaticly, you can switch it off but its a bit of a pain. Ive tried to stop it playing automaticly in the settings but no joy. Please can any one help its driving his mum mad.

Try settings>ipod.....if theres option to stop auto play..?

have you tried coming out of the ipod systematically .. ie press off button when you stop listening to the music then dropping out step by step then put back on the cradle .. may sound stupid but worked for me
