    iMac 27" i7

    Thinking of getting an iMac 27" i7, anybody got one ?, any input b4 I get one.

      I ordered one on Saturday nite, should be here tomorrowor wednesday, any pointers you can give me greatly appreciated, my first apple comp !!
      Worth upgrading the memoery etc ?

        hi mate i have the 27" i7 and love it, i went and installed 16gb of ram. cost about ?400 but worth every penny. also if thats out of ur league u could always install an extra 4gb and bring u upto 8gb

          I installed 16GB ram day after I got it, sold other memory on Ebay, I was only ?230 for 16GB or ram from Crucial.
          Fantastic computers, complete novice again, but worth the learning curve.

                            I got one for my Dad before I lost my job and he has not turned on his windows machine since then. He is at 8gb of RAM.
                            I am using a Mac Pro with the 27" LED cinema display and in love with the display.
                            I can see why you folks love the 27" iMac. Also went nuts on getting RAM. Loaded up 32gb from Kingston for less than $500 US.
