Mac Book Pro Problem with Monitor via DVI

    Hi!

I am very new here and i have a problem with my Mac Book Pro when it is connected to my Monitor via DVI. I am not sure if this is the right place to ask for help. I hope it is.

My Mac Book Pro is connected via a DVI->Mini Display port adapter to my 24" Samsung monitor. The problem i have is the following.

From time to time (did not see any reason way) the monitor gets dark and a second later its back on. Every few weeks or months this comes up. But when it comes up, it starts to get more and more often (Up do a few times a minute). And when this happens i also often have the situation that the monitor gets black as described above and after that the screen shows a ... hard to explain ... like a TV that does not receive any signal. You know the creepy white noise. But this does not stop by itself. I have to Switch of the monitor and disconnect the DVI cable and reconnect it again.

    What i have already tested:
    - Another Monitor -> Same problem.
    - Different DVI adapter/DVI cable -> Same problem
    - Restarting the Mac -> Same Problem

Maybe one of you have an idea what i can do??? I hope someone has an idea. :-)

Turn off the Ambient light sensor for the Macbook's internal display if it has one.
