Bought a DSi XL

At last

Bought from tesco direst, ?125 with ?2.50 back in clubcard points, that's a fair price I think, went for the blue one, pick it up tomorrow from my local tescos.

Andy and a few other posters gave me advice on what I need to get started a while ago, but could I get confirmation on exactly what I have to buy and where to buy it from please, thanks guys.

you'll be needng a flashcard and micro sd card.

which card you get is up to you.
i prefer acecards as there are simple to use and relatively cheap.
i would advise steering clear of any r4i clone

they do bundles of acecards (if thats what you go for) and sd cards.

you should get an acekard and 4gig sd card delivered for around ?25-?30

all you need then is the firmware which is in the download section.

before you buy a card, post a link to it first, so we can have a look....

alot of fakes and clones out there m8, even fake acekards now.......

Thanks Andy, I will go for the 4GB one for ?23.95p, they are out of stock at the minute, so in the meantime I shall start the process of downloading and extracting games/nds files, that should keep me busy until the acecards are back in stock, thanks again.

original acecard2i... thats the gamecart you want..

toys r us are selling 4 gig microsd cards or a tener just now,
dont know if it would work out cheaper getting an sd card from them...

need to get your calculater out..

but yes, that is the right gamecart..

Thanks Andy, I think I will just get it from that site, then I know ive got everything I need in one go.

Dunno what its all about, but everything should start to make sense when ive got the cards and can have a look at them with my xl.

Do i have to buy a MicroSD card PC adapter seperately?, or will i get one with my acecard and sd card?

Acekard has just arrived , no pc adapter with it, there was a note in the package saying the sd card is being sent out seperately, so hopefuly that package will have the pc adapter in, im thinking the sd card package should arrive tomorrow.

if not just drop it in your phone and do it that way with usb lead that what i do coz im a cheep git and will not pay 4 one

you will get an adaptor with the micro sd card m8,
