cannot copy filename or directory is corrupted and unreadable nds

Hi i get this message when i try to load a new rom on to my son's r4i Cannot copy (filename) or directory is corrupted and unreadable. It does it with different files and files that work on another r4i. Should i save all files and re-format, anyone else had this issue. I could also look for the latest firmware but don't want to do this in case i cock it up completely cheers Donka.

Yeah just back up all your roms and saves, and format the r4 and install the latest patch from the website, copy your roms and saves back and voila you should be fine.

If not then it points towards failing memory and you'll more than likely need to get a new one.
