R4i card

Hi everyone i am new to the site and have bought an r4i gold card i have tried to dowload the firmware on it as i am using it for a dsi xl but all i get is the name of the game stormbreaker and when you load it a white screen with a question mark and menu the card says v14.1 if thats any help

hi are you getting a red symbol, on the card there is a web site post it please all so did you formatt the micro card

Yes i formatted the micro card and used fat 32 i bought the card from just gadgets.com and there is a red symbol

Well not to sure where to go from here as the wife and kids were all looking forward to playing there games from the old r4 card

format your sd card with a proper formatting tool.

then download this the english 1.57b file from here

R4i-GOLD > R4-DOWNLOAD_R4i-GOLD Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS

when you have downloaded it, extract the files.
you will now have a folder.

open the folder and copy the five items inside it to the root of your sd card...
do not put them in a folder or copy the entire folder across.

see how you go with that....

i have done that but there were more than five files and by root of the card does that just mean copying them over sorry for being slack

it is still coming up with the picutre of the card with a question mark sayng menui
