hey ppl, R4i upgrade revolution for ds * V1.4*. Just today it doesn't show up in the dsi xl, I put two games on today, ben 10 and Sonic, now my son says it happened before and he takes the card out and pops it back in and it's ok. Do ya think it just needs f/w update ?

tht sometimes happens m8, i would try re-inserting micro sd card.
you must have had it out to put the new games, may not be seated properly. -
Think the cart is knackered bud, tried replacing the sdhc a few times and on the ds, it says no card inserted. So I tried an old r4i gold one, that belongs to a m8, his kid couldn't play games on, the cart shows up ( just loading....), but at least it shows up in the ds. Looking like a new Acecard 2i, or is there better out there now ?sigpicComment

So you think the cart is ~~~~ed, sounds like it yeah ?. My sons machine is a dsi XL. R4i revolution for DS. (DSI/DSL/NDS), R4I ta.com. This wont work on his XL will it?

right post the details about your own card, anything that it says on the card and the web addy.....
also what version dsi have you got.
plug it in without a gamecard in and press settings.
on the bottom right of top screen it will say summit like 1.4 or 1.4.1Comment

, no, it's the one that wouldn't work for my m8 anymore, he reckons the kid did something to it and asked me to try fix it, but if I get it goin now, he can pish off , thats exactly whats printed on it, as far as I know it came from our friends in China

right, then all you need to do is download the latest firmware from it,
extract the files
open the folder and copy the various files folders to your sd card and it should work....
remember to format sd card firstComment
