R4 card

Cant get any of the woods firmware to work on r4 card. Just stichs at the loading screen. Can anyone help? CHEERS

woods is for originals only, can u post a picture of your card, which firmware does work on it?

Thanks for getting back to me mate. the card says R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS).
The software that works on it at the moment is R4 SDHC V1.25 but it needs upgraded to play lego starwars and my wee guy is no too pleased.
Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

its difficult to say m8,

a few diffrent, but similer versions of those cards.

you could try this one.

or have a look here.

there a few sdhc r4 firmwares listed.

tbh
i don't think you'll get the starwars game working on it.

there is also ys menu firmware which can be used for some cards.
i'm not sure if your card can run on it.

if you google "ys menu for r4 clones" you will find some info...

Just as a n00bish followup question....

I gather it's the SDHC nature of the card that's the problem right?

I ask because I'm planning to try the woods firmware on my daughter's original R4..

I'll probably back up and give it a go anyway, you can't bork these things right?

original r4 cards are not capable of reading sdhc cards.

most r4 cards and all r4 sdhc upgrade cards are clones, most of the dstt card.

if your card uses any microsd card larger than 2 gig, it cannot be an original r4 card and the woods firmware wont work....

you wont damage the card in trying....

I thought these were original cards but I was not *sure*.
