AceKard 2i White screens on boot!

Hi, I have just received my acekard2i and followed the guide to set it up with the 1.8.6 (Formatting my 4gb SDHC micro SD with the Phillips tool first)

it boots fine, but when I turn the DS Lite on it says some "Chinese writing" followed by "DORASU" where the name of a DS game should be. When I click it the akAIO loader loads up, but if I click any game (tried many such as prof. layton, sonic colours, yoshis island, cooking mumma 3) it says loading and then freezes with a dual white screen!

I have read alot of threads and tried disabling anti piracy, cheats and soft reset and the issue still persists. Can anyone help pleaseeeeeeeeeee!

e2a - I have just tried a different SD card (one out of a friends R4 card that works with some games on his DS) and I have the same issue!

the dorasu screen is the new game that acekard pretends to be to bypass latest nintento 3ds security....

this means your card is up to date.

where did you download your firmware?

use this firmware.

and where did you buy your card?

there is alot of fakes on the go...

I downloaded the firmware off of www. acekard. com, and then tried another off gba temp. The AKAIO fw seems to be working fine

I brought my card off lightake, which was recommended and I think its partners with Shop Temp now, the card looks real and has a anti piracy sticker etc

ok, I just tried again with my friends sandisk 2gb from his r4.

I formatted it using the tool, copied over the files and a few games, now when I boot it 1 game (The professors brain trainer memory) shows up with a icon next to it and boots fine!

But the other games I have on the card still have the grey icon and wont boot!

e2a - I added more games to the card, and some are working! but others arent,
Cooking mama 2 - Dinner with friends - Has an icon but wont boot
cooking mama 3 - no icon, no boot
Art Acadamy (EU) - has icon and boots!
professor layton and the unwound future - no icon no boot
professot layton and the lost future (EU) - has icon and boots!
sonic colours (EU) - no icon, no boot
Cooking mama world - hobbies and fun (EU) - has icon and boots!
mario vs donkey kong - no icon, no boot
Yoshi's island - no icon, no boot!

anyone have any idea what the hell is going on??

its must be a problem with yer roms then.

where are you getting them from?

are your roms unzipped and have you checked the file extensions are ok.

i have noticed that some sites change the s to 5.
i dont know why, must be some legal reason or summit.

the roms that arent working, make sure they end .nds and not nd5 or anything like that....

failing that,
try downloading another version of the a rom your having problems with from here.

so that we can rule out dodgy roms.

tell you what, download the mario v donkey kong from here unzip it and see if it works.

i have the same set up as you , i will download it too and check it works.....

Dont believe it may have just been dodgy roms! the ones I was using were all .nds but came from Romsite.net: Download all nds and gba games information. Maybe this site was full of duds?

am I right in thinking I can play all region games?

yes m8,
you can play any region, best looking for U (usa) region games, some of the E (euro) ones dont have an english language option .

try a few more from that site,
they have all of the roms you had problems wuith....

when looking for roms, you always want clean/unpatched rom's for acekard...

t.p.b. is great for roms, tonnes of them on there.

you will find them as singles or huge bundles on there.
