hi,alot of newer games are not working on my r4i gold v1.4 (with mario on the front)and ive heard theres no update,is there anything i can do or do i need to upgrade

New R4i Golds are for DSi version 1.4, what firmware is your DSi running, I have seen that a 1.3 firmware DSi will not run a 1.4 flashcart.

firmware is 1.4,most games do work but the newer games i get errors

Try this mate its what I use for my lads one. I've updated it with the latest fixes I get from gbatemp for the newer games. Is it deffo the one withe mario on the box ? If it is it'll work.

delete everything off your sd card bar your ds roms and copy the contents after you extract it to the sd

We've got my lad a 3ds for his birthday and i've just ordered an acekard 2i from Acekard 2i| Acekard 2i Card | Dsi Xl & Dsi | 1.4 Firmwar - Gamewrecked on saturday and it come today plus its genuine.

Ok its pricier than buying from hong kong or china but it doesn't take 9 weeks or isn't a fake clone.

Soz, forgot to put it works on the 3ds but only for the ds games no flashcart will play 3ds roms yet.....
