    Help please with 1.4.1e firmware & R4 Upgrade Card

    Hi,

    I have a R4 talk Upgrade 1.5v card and have been using it with no problems on my DSi XL for many months. However, I stupidly upgraded my DSi Firmware to 1.4.1e and now I cannot get the card to work. Anyone have any suggestions please?

      Check for new firmware on website printed on box,or cartridge. However you may have disabled the cart which is more than likely.

      Did you back up your card if so format and then copy back your files you could get lucky,or new fw, or it's goosed!!!

          I've tried downloading the new firmware on the website, but that doesn't work. I have formatted the card and reinstalled with no luck. A game is showing on the DSi menu, but when you click on it, a black screen comes up with "An error has occurred. Press and hold the power button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSI Operations Manual for details." Should I give up on this card?

              dsi 1.4.1 firmware was brought out to block flashcards,
              if your card is a r4i clone, pre-1.4.1 then it is probably useless....
              buy an acekard2i... problem solved...
