Acekard 2i Not working?

hi m8,
ive had a look at your video, the only diffrence i see to your setup is the games been in folders,.

just to make absolutely sure:

format your sd card again.

download this rar file and extract it straight to your sd card.

do not put anything into folder, just leave it as it is.....

this is firmware and a couple of roms from my sd card, an older one and a newer one,
just to make sure m8.....

had an email back from them saying they'll set up an RMA for me.

Though they've asked for two more photos of tha card though to see if it's been there's been any damage to the card. My camera is very old and I can't clear shots of the card though so I don't know how to get any clearer shots than I already have.

Acekard 2i no longer booting

I recently bought an for my DSi, and it was working fine patched with the Dorasu 3DS patch. Then the DSi forced me to update whilst the acekard was inside the DSi, and since then it always gives me the error screen after booting the card from the menu. I've tried reformatting the MicroSD with the Panasonic formatter and I've tried flashing the cart with the Alex Rider patch but nothing seems to have any effect on the end result. Have I ruined the card or is there a fix for this?

The card should still work it's just your DS will no longer run that card. I think it would illegal for Nintendo to brick your card.

your card will play fine on an older console.

there is a fix for this, but acekard arn't releasing it until futher testing.....

U can test, and will play fine on an older console

My acekard shows up as "Dorasu" in the DS console too, but it's giving an error when I try to open it. How can you tell if this is because the firmware is blocking the acekard, or if I did something wrong when loading AKAIO on the SD card?

thats what it should show up as m8,

i take you are using a dsi, which version firmware is the dsi on?

to check:

1: start up console without a gamecard in.
2. press ettings (spanner icon)
3. look at bottom right of TOP screen, your firmware version should be displayed there. either 1.4 or 1.4.1 or 1.4.2

Ah, ok, it says "1.4.2U". I take it this means the firmware is blocking my acekard? That's too bad...I don't have a DSLite handy to update it. Guess I'll have to ask around to see if anyone has one I can borrow...

the acekard 1.4.2 update hasn't been released yet....

Oops, I thought I found an update at another site, but I guess that was unofficial?

(Sorry for all the questions and thanks for the help! I'm not really familiar with the DSi, but I'm trying to get this thing set up for my little bro...)
