    help with r4i 3ds

    hi there ive downloaded firmware and update from r4i website, to winrar and extracted to to flashdisk. but when i put r4 into dsi i keep getting an error has occurred press and hold the power button to turn the system off. please help its driving me crazy

    which firmware is your dsi on?

    version 1.4.2 blocks flashcards.

      i have 1.4.2e. but i downloaded the update from offical website which i thought cracked that firmware

        yes,
        but if it works the same as acekards, then you will need an older console to perform the update first.

        you got a link to the update?

          im not sure how to post links but the website is r4i sdh com mate and the card i have is the r4i 3ds

            just copy and paste from your address bar m8.

            there a few similer cards with similer web addy's ,it is important to get the correct one.

            type in the web address printed on the card...

                    just follow instructions here m8,



                    download your firmware and the update file,
                    extract them all to sd card,
                    put sd card in gamecard into dsi and run the update

                    i have marked the files you need on this image.

                    firmware is circled in blue.
                    update is circled in red.

                    make sure the mains charger is plugged in while doing the update and delete the update from your sd card when your done...

                    if power fails during update it can brick the card.......

                        yes it should m8,

                        i normally use acekards
                        they have diffrent files for updating on dslites and dsi's.
                        as there is only one file for this card, i would imagine you can use any older console...

                        best to use an older dsi i think though.......
