Have a r4i red v1.4.1 (r4i-sdhc) but the dsi is v1.4.2

it says on website the this card will work on v1.4.2
i have put 1.38b in root and the update file. put in dsi and i just get error.

Any help?

ok worked it out..
you have to run the update part on a dsi with fw 1.4.1 or older.
The r4i-sdhc website dont say that.
Hope this helps someone else out.

Upgrading your DSI with latest kernel and firmware

1. Format SD card using Panasonic formatter or format on your computer
2. Load latest Kernel onto card file by file or folder. Do not load kernel all at once.
3. Copy latest firmware onto card.
4. You will need to use a pre v1.4.2 DS or DSI to upgrade R4i card. It will not upgrade on a DSI that has V1.4.2 software already on.
5. Once upgraded on a pre V1.4.2 DS/DSI,delete upgrade firmware and load nds games..
6. The DS XL now works with the latest kernel and patch.
