r4i 3ds help

when i try to play my r4i 3ds card now all i get is a white screen with a sd card on it with the word menu and a question mark onit. ive tried to reinstall kemel and update but its still the same.

you haven't updated your dsi to v1.4.2 have you?

yeah i have but it was working on my dsi with 1.4.2 on it

well the menu in red error usually means wrong or incorrectly installed firmware.

did you format youyr sd card first?

have you got a diffrent sd card you could try?

i will try and install it again and if that does nae work i will buy an sd card. can i buy just any sd card?

yes m8, it should work with any sd card.

you say you had it working before, so i take it you are using the correct firmware and putting it on right?

ive tried to install it all again but still no working. i will buy a sd card 2mor and see if that works. will i have to update the r4 card on a older dsi again

this is for the card itself, only needs doing once, did you not post before and getting it working not long ago?

are you defo downloading the corrrect firmware and putting it on the card right?

yeah mate it was all working fine untill yesterday. then it just came up with a error on the screen. so i reinstalled everthing onit. now im getting the menu icon on the screen

same problem here, never done this before so specs i have are dsi xl, firmware 1.4E, r4i-SDHC 3DS, it already has spongebob on the r4i card (which was already on it) have no idea which firmware i should update, got the tf card / reader, sd card, still dont wanna screw my kids xmas prezzie up, help would be greatful thanks folks
