Correct firmware

Hi guys, i have borowed my neighbours ds lite to upgrade my r4i card on the condition i fix it for him...i have updated my r4i card, but now when i put in his r4 card into his ds lite i just get a white screen with a red ? and it says menu.

when i put my sons r4 card in it plays fine, so i tried putting the same software on but its the same(red ? with menu)

I know there is loads of different card, but i need help getting the correct firmware.

can you post a pic of the card that aint working?

also what size microsd card are you using?

2gb micro sd

Thats a pic of the card attached but it doesn't have wifi on it, and the cards sticker is slightly wonky.

i have got the pic from the web as i dont have a cam to hand.

does it say sdhc or r4i on the card anywhere?

can u type exactly whats printed on the card?

dont think so mate, it says sdhc on the web address thats it.

ok m8,
try woods firmware first

1: backup and format your sd card (fat 32)

2: download woods from here

Digital Kaos - Downloads - woods 1.31

3. extract files then open folder and copy "_rpg " folder and the "ds.menu " file to ROOT of sd card.

4. add an older game to test (super mario or summit)

5. post back results..

tried that it's the same result, just a white screen with red ? and menu

again download open folder and copy various files/folders to sd card...

i'm sure it had a moonshl file or sumfin on the card originally, but as it wouldn't load any games i deleted um like a nugget and didn't save. the woods firmware is on my sons ds and it looked different to wats on this card.

Well its not mine anyway so i'l just put a few games that do work on it and job done, if he wants to upgrade then it'l be easier to do
