Help Please M8s,Need Help With R4SD HC Card

I need your advice please my son has been playing fine with his DS with the R4SD HC card, and now when he comes to turn the DS on he gets a Loading screen.
Does any one know of an update please that will get it working again; it?s a grey R4 card with a 4gig micro sd card in.
