ndsi v1.4.2 r4i v1.4.1

hello just got a ndsi with v1.4.2 on it and my r4i v1.4.1 doesnt work or even show the card

thats because 1.4.2dsi blocks previously released flashcarts.

depending on the card you have, there may be an update you can do to overcome this....

whats the exact card and web address on it?

yep according to your website that card can be updated....

bad news is you need a dslite to run the update.

do you have one handy?

no i av a dsi with 1.4e on it will that work

download the 2 files ive circled on this page


format sd card
then extract the 1.40b firmware, open folder and copy varoius files folder to root of sd card,

then extract the update file and copy the .nds update file to root of sd card same as a rom.

put the card in console and start the update like any game and follow instructions.

make sure you have the dsi connected to its charger, if the battery fails you'll brick your card....

get the update from the cards site m8, dsi's cannot be downgraded unfortunatly....

does the card work now in the 1.4 dsi?

yes it works on ther dsi and ive update it but still nowt

you might have a fake card then.

check if card is fake here..
