Correct firmware for my R4?

Hi

I have an (I think) original R4 - looks just like the one at http://www.nintendos4u.co.uk/blog/wp...b80e7944b6.jpg

a 2gb SD card on a DS lite.

The card shows v1.18 when I boot up.

From what I've read on here it looks like I need the Woods firmware.

Can anyone advise if I just download the latest version of that (looks like v1.36) - or is there a specific version for this card?

if it says 1.18 then it probably will work with woods firmware.

back up your sd card first incase isi doesn't

1. format sd card
2. download/extract latest woods firmware.Digital Kaos - Downloads - woods 1.36
3. copy the _rpg folder and dsmenu ffile to sd card aand add games.

I put a new SD card in a R4 card that had a broken one in it before. downloading the suggested file now. I hope it works>

I am not sure whether your r4 card is original. But genuine R4 DS card can use wood r4 kernel and r4 V1.18 firmware.
