Help Please With R4i v1.4 Card For Dsi XL

I need your advice please m8s, the card is a pale yellow color in. It has been working fine since I got it, but when I put the dsi on it has this message, R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS and under that it says Loading....
Could you please guide me on what update it needs please, and how to put the update on sd card.

barrowmanandrew is your expert for that. i have an r4 card for the ds and when i was downloading new games they wouldnt play etc. he advised me to download the latest firmware for the r4 card and woo hoo it worked.

i hope santa is getting me a dsi xl and ive already got the acekard thanks to advice from barrowman.

It says this at the top of the screen, R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS
And in red writing it says, fake card return to retailer
Can some one please help.

can u give some more info m8.

1. the card:
can you post a picture of it?
or tell us exactly whats printed on the card and packaging.
detail is important.

2. the console:
which version firmware is it on?
to check, power on without catridge in, the press settings (spanner icon)
you version will be displayed on screen

also, does the card work in dslite?

when you say it was working but now isn't.
was it working in the console it's not working in now?

Make sure using the official firmware from the R4i SDHC official web site www.r4i-sdhc.com ,i think you downloded wrong kernel or didn't save kernel files into root of microSD card.
