help with ds lite

hi guys just after some help a friend has given me a ds to look at they replaced the bottom screen and now the touch part does not work but screen is on.
any ideas as i have never opened one of these before just after some ideas on where to start.

touchscreen may be damaged.

have a look at this video,
piss easy to dismantle. (you will need a triwing screwdriver)
