    R4i card help plz

    bought an r4i card, it has v.1.4.3 followed by 3ds v2.1.3 - bought it off cardukshop.com Home ..... iv tried various reccomended firmwares but none will work on my sons ds lite!! anyone any idea wat firmware is needed? also is the card even compatible?

    thanks in advance for any help - greatly appreciated!!

      yes it should be compatable, what is the web addres on the card?

          www.r4i-sdhc.hk - iv downloaded firmware from this site - the v.1.4.3b n still no joy! any ideas wat to do?

              wat i get appearing is a picture of a sad looking sd card with menu? underneath! could the memory card be the problem!

                  yes it could be sd card,
                  are you sure thats the web address on the card?

                      yea 100% .hk! thinkin i may jst buy another card from a uk provider with firmware pre-installed

                          it should be the 1.43b firmware.

                          1. format sd card. (fat 32)

                          2. download the firmware. http://yunchang3.w89.1860php.com/R4i%20English.rar

                          3. unzip the files and open folder, then copy the various folders and files to root of sd card.

                          if it still doesnt work, try a diffrent sd card.

                              There are many kinds of R4i SDHC cards in the market. They are not compatible with each other. So you should check the official website printed on the card. No other firmware can be used in the r4i sdhc card. R4i SDHC Kernel Download

                                  ive bought 5 of them cards today. u need to go to google & type in the web address. then go to the second site with the right kernal on it. there are 2 down load fires. 1 for the 3ds update & the other for the card itself. u need to unzip both lots of firmware & add both to the sd card. i.e open them all & drag them to the sd card. then put a game on there. then test. ive done 5 today tested them on ds lite & dsi. perfect,
