Nintendo R4i card problem - Help!

Im having exactly the same problem but my card is an R4 i V1.4 with same error message. It works fine in the ds lite, but when i put it in the dsi xl it says the same message as the person states above. any help very much appreciated . Thanks

use a decent sd formating tool thru google install latest kernal thru the webpage printed on r4 card that might resolve the issue

Did you have any luck getting the 1.4 software update to work? I've got 1.4.3 and both an M3 Zero and an R4i and not having any luck with either.
