Hi all i am after buying a new r4 3ds card for my sons 3DS, it is on the newest firmware, ver 3.0.0.

I find they are pretty much all the same (I may be proved wrong by someone who knows better than me ) so any of the 3ds ones would do .. if anyone can explain why they are all different prices I would be interested to hear , Ive always gone cheapest and never had a problem .

i stick to acekards because they're relativley cheap.

also there are alot of diffrent version r4i/ r4i gold r4i 3ds cards.
this makes finding correct firmware confusing.

best with an acekard with a/p sitcker on the back so you know its genuine

i often wonder what is so diffrent about the more expensive cards too , but they must be ok, ya don't see many threads with peeps having problems with them....

When dealextreme where selling the r4 ones when they first came out i always bought the cheapest from there too and have never had a problem except for the odd occasion having to try a different f/w like barrowmanandrew says. Thanks for replies will order and hope for the best that i get a genuine one, .
