Nintendo 3DS Error message, help please.

Hi, i got my daughter a 3ds when they were first released this year and have been using a R4i Gold 3DS card since then with no problems at all, but around a month ago everytime she tries to play a game it fails to load and she gets the following message:-

An error has occurred.
Press and hold the POWER Button
to turn the system off.
Please refer to the operations
manual for details.

I have updated the card with the lastest woods firmware, but still get the above message, i lost the receipt for the 3ds so couldnt return it to the store i bought it from, but i did send it back to Nintendo repairs who said there is nothing wrong with it, ive since tried a original 3ds game in it and it works. could it be a problem with my R4 card or is there something else i could do to get it to work.

couldd be a number of things m8.

1st. 3ds firmware has been updated and your flashcart is blocked by new console fimrware. (most likley of the three i think)

2. faulty sd card or sd card needing a reformat. (happens all the time)

3. faulty flashcart. (less likely of the three)

post exact details of the card including any web address on it, include a picture of it if possible and we will try and help..

got the card from here R4iDS Official ? R4i gold Revolution For 3DS,DS,DSL,DSi V1.4.3 - R4i Gold 3DS the card itself is black with gold writing on it saying R4i revolution for DS and the web address.

like i said the card has worked for the last 8+ months.

some of these games force the console to update...
notably the new super mario 3dgame (i have heard)

what should the sd card be formatted too?
format to fat 32, recommended to use panasonic formatting tool found

hi, never been played with proper 3ds catridges, only since its been broke has a proper one been used to check if it still works.

what should the sd card be formatted too?

yes its that same one mate, just checked my firmware on 3ds and its 3.0.0-5E if that helps.

if i was to buy a new flashcart would it then work? what are the best flashcarts for them?
