nintendo ds lite wont turn on charge

hi ive a two nintendo ds lite thats not working
when ya plug in the charger the charge lights come on for a splits second and then go out

they have been fixed before by one of the electricans in work but hes since left so im having a go myself

ive stripped them and can see on one ds it has only the f2 fuse soldered

and on the other ds the f1 and f2 fuse has been soldered
im just wondering are they worth resoldering
or has something else on the board been blown due to these fuses been overridden

anyway i desoldered and resoldered the two ds to see what would happen
the two are working again but one wont charge
il try resolder it again and see how i get on
said id let ya no incase anyone is in the same boat
its a simple fix once ya have a steady hand
cost me 2 euro for a screwdriver is all
