AceKard 2i and 3DS version 2.1.0-4E

Hi there,

Am trying to get my Acekard 2i working with my Nintendo 3DS version 2.1.0-4E

Have read some posts and done the following:-

1. Formatted the drive with the SD Formatter (FAT32)
2. downloaded the latest akaio firmware http://www.acekard.com/download/akaio/AKAIO.1.8.9.zip
3. I have downloaded the 3DS21 firmware update. However, it's a NDS file and I cannot run it because as soon as I select AceKard 2i from my 3DS menu I get the 'An Error has occurred' message.

Any advice appreciated

what u need to do is get a hold of an older 3ds, dsi or a dslite to do the update m8...

you cant update on a new console as it is blocking the flashcard...

ps,

what icon does the acekard should up as on the 3ds?

also, its a diffrent update file for updating on a dslite to a dsi...

Thanks mate,

The Icon on the 3DS shows up as a blue lowercase 'ak' with a white '2' in a pale blue background.

If I run the update on a dslite (which I have), will it no longer support my DS Lite (if I wish to switch back)

and which update specifically should I run ?

The one I found on the net for the 3DS21x firmware or another ?

this is the update file you need m8,
ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSL.rar

just extract it to the sd card with the akaio 1.8.9 firmware and do the update on the dslite.

once the update is done, the card icon will change to prince of persia (or summit like that),
then your acekard will play on all dslites/dsi's and 3ds's..

ps.
remember to delete the update file when your finished and make sure the dslite is plugged into charger when doing update.
(power faiure during update can ~~~~ yer card.. ;
