R4i gold help please

Hi guys nephew just bought his r4i gold.cn v1.4 his dsi is running 1.4.3e card round not working just downloaded the latest Fw from website it works in my ds lite but not in his dsi and theres an update kernal on the site which is not letting u download which I'm assuming updates so it can be used on the dsi any help would be greatly appreiated

The r4i gold V1.4 card is the very old version, it can't support DSi V1.4.3, DSi V1.4.2 and DSi V1.4.1 console. If you want to work on DSi V1.4.3, should buy a new r4i gold card, such as R4i Gold V1.4.1 or R4i Gold 3DS card.
