Well the basic problem i got with my R4i is that it stopped working out of the blue, I was playing EBA then i turned off the ds for a little and turned back on just to see it didn't loaded the R4i (platinum) cartridge on the menu.
It sometimes flashed in the past that it didnt readed it whilst the cart was in and I had to move it a little or take out and put in again...
I havent used the internet on my ds nor upgraded it's firmware.
