    R4i Gold Kernel update - Wood R4 V1.44 release

    New Wood R4 V1.44 software was released on Feb 2nd. It can be used for R4i Gold DSi card and R4i Gold 3DS card (r4ids.cn). Old R4 DS card (r4ds.com) also use this software. Wood R4 V1.44 improved the core, and fixed 6 new games. By loading the latest wood r4 kernel, R4i Gold 3DS card will fit Nintendo 3DS console better.

    Which flashcard can use Wood R4 V1.44?

    r4i gold card from r4ids.cn. (including R4i Gold 3DS and R4i Gold non-3DS card).
    R4 DS card from r4ds.com .(now changed into r4ds.me).
    R4idsn card and R4idsn 3DS card from r4idsn.com.

    Core update:
    • extlink support.
    • 3in1+ support. opera works, gba launch from psram/nor works, even rumble in some games works. big thanx to mbmax for testing.

    Compatibility update:
    • 'professor layton and the spectre's call (europe)' fixed.
    • 'jeongukmin model audition superstar ds (korea)' fixed.
    • 'live-on card live-r ds (korea)' fixed.
    • 'mario & luigi rpg 3 - kupa momsok daemoheom (korea)' fixed.
    • 'metal beyblade 2 - big bang bladers (korea)' fixed.
    • 'yu-gi-oh 5d's world championship 2011 - over the nexus (korea)' fixed

    How to setup Wood R4 V1.44?

    1. Download the latest Wood R4 V1.44 patch to computer.
    2. Unzip the patch, you can get 3 files: "_rpg", "_DS_MENU" and "WOODR4.NDS".
    3. Copy all the files to the root directory of the TF card, they will cover old files automatically.
    Then the wood r4 firmware in the TF card is already V1.44 version.

      r4ids website not working

      Hi,
      I tried to download the "The DSi V1.44 Patch for R4i Gold Non-3DS is released now! (for R4i gold Non 3DS card only)" from:
      R4i GOLD Kernel,WOOD R4 Firmware Download-R4i gold Revolution for DS/DSi/3DS
      The download link brings me to a non -existent ftp site:
      ftp://www.r4ids.co.cc/R4iGoldNon3DS_V144Patch.rar
      Any idea why or where can I find those files?

          r4ids moonshel not working after DSi update

          Hi,

          I allowed an internet update of the DS OS. I have R4iDS Gold. Now I'm not able to run anymore the moonshell2, even if all the related files and folders are still there on the card. Any idea how to fix this please? My card is 8Gb and worked very well. I cannot use Wood because that cannot work with cards lerger than 2 Gb.
