strange R4 problem

Hello all i hope some one can help me with a very frustrating problem. My R4 card has a strange problem, It displays Star Wars lethal alliance all the time even when no SD card is inserted but just displays an error has occured when i click on it and i have to restart the DSi. the card is a R4i v1.4 Upgrade Revolution for DS (NDSi XL/NDSi/NDSL/NDS I have formatted the sd card but it wont read from it and the only icon on the DSi is always the Star Wars one when the R4 is inserted. it is 1.4.1E

that is the [problem.

console is on 1.4.1 and card can only play on console 1.4 or below...

these card pretend to be games in order to run on the console that is why you see the star wars icon.

some of these cards can be updated,
what is the web address on the card?
can you post a picture of it?

i cant post a pic at the moment but the address on the card is "WWW.R4I-SDHC.COM"

nope, accoridng to the site only the newer 3ds cards can be upgraded..

So i guess the card is useless then.

its no good for 3ds, dsi 1.4.1 or above,
should still work on a dslite or older dsi...

card is still supported so newer games will work on too (on older console)
