Are acekards not available anymore ? Is R4i the way to go ?

I'll be buying my 2nd DSi XL and was looking to buy an acekard for it just like my first one. But looks like acekards are not available anymore. Is R4i the new option ? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks so much.
