What is a card reader for acekard ?

I was looking at a website selling acekard but it says that I need to buy a card reader as this one doesn't come with it. Can anybody please tell me what a card reader is ? Any help will be appreciated. Also, if you can refer a seller for acekard I would appreciate it.

computers dont have microsd slots, the card reader is an adapter which you put the microsd card into and plug into the computer.

you either get one that convers microsd to sd or microsd to usb.

you need it to transfer firmware and games to microsd card.;
