Nintendo 3ds help please

I did the following but cannot get the acekard to work.

1. Took a backup of the SD card and then formatted using the tool posted on this forum.

2. Downloaded akmenu4.nds and the _aio folder and copied it to the SD card.

3. Plugged the acekard in my 3ds but nothing. It says something like Dorasu. I don't know if this is a program that comes with my 3ds or if my acekard is showing that.

Please help.

if the acekard is showing up as dorusus it means the card itslef is out of date.

it can be updated but you will need either an older model 3ds/dsi or a dslite in order to perform update.

i have uploaded the files and prepared a little tut on how to go about this,,,

Is this the card you got from the same place as me. If it is the update firmware is on the acekard web site. If you can't find it give me a shout and ink upload the file I used on my card

Have you put the serial number from the back of the card into the anti clone checker on the acekard site. Both sets of top numbers then both sets of bottom numbers left to right and are you using akio 1.8.9

and heres the link to the firmware http://www.acekard.com/download.php but don't forget to use the correct file for whatever you are using to update card i.e dsi or ds lite it's very simple exctract the akaio 1.8.9 and copy over the .nds file and the aio folder then follow the instructions in the readme that comes with the 1.4.3 update file

I just tried to check at the anticlone site but the numbers are hardly visible on the chip. I think I downloaded akio 1.8.6

I copied the latest firmware update on the SD card. Do I need an older DSi to run the upgrade or can I do it using my 3DS ?

chess master is the 1.4.2 update (i think) you have used the wrong file...

use this file for updating on dsi xl

ak2ifw_update_3ds30_DSi143_onDSi_and_DSXL_and3DS.rar

once done icon will change to prince caspian

stick that file on along with your akaio firmware, remember to delete update file when finished

glad to here it. Quick tip for pokemon white I had to change the bypass antipiracy option from default to disabled before it would work but that may just be my rom
