where can i safely download games

i have just bought my boy an r4 card for his ds lite problem is that it seems extremely risky getting games. i spent yesterday trying to access sites for games and even what looked low risk soon frightened me to death. first site tried to pt babylon on my computer (i've had it before and its a nightmare so i had to quickly shut down before it took over computer)
2nd site said cost would be ?7 for 3 years but billed my credit card for ?31 so i ended up having to phone usa for a refund of the payment
anyone have sites they would recommend for downloads i would prefer to pay as i think the free sites seem to tack a lot of freeware? on to the downloads

where do you get your d/loaded films from? same places : ie torrent sites or nzbs

Dont pay for ds games get them for free on torrent sites like the pirate bay. Check out the top 100 handheld games on the pirate bay. You need a program called utorrent to download from the bay. Get it free from utorrent.com
